What is your availability?
Currently I am only accepting new clients on a part-time basis. My current project load does not allow me to consider full time projects at this time. While many projects do not work on part time basis I have found that many do. Consider working with me on a part-time basis for items such as DBA Services, Project Proposal Development, ETL Performance Tuning and Training just to name a few.

What is your rate?
Everything is negotiable but my hourly rates do tend to be higher considering my breadth of expertise and my proven track record. My clients have found that paying a premium for good work can actually result in cost savings due to work being completed correctly, efficient and scalable for the future. Ultimately my rate is custom for each project in order to stay competitive in the market place. I use several criteria in determining rate including location, scope, length and current market conditions. Contact me for a custom quote.

Will you consider a permanent employment position?
I have been an independent consultant for over two years now and enjoy it considerably. Being an independent allows me to satisfy my desire for challenges, new opportunities and working and meeting many individuals in the IT space. I also feel being an independent keeps me sharp by knowing that I must rely on the skill set I have built to remain employed by my clients not a company policy or union. That being said I do consider permanent employment positions but I have yet to find one that I feel will allow me to obtain the same satisfaction of being an entreprenuer.
